AnDi Communications is able to provide a desktop publishing service that provides the design and layout for eg books, conference proceedings, booklets, technical brochures, promotional fliers, advertising artwork, CD/DVD covers, PowerPoint® presentations, calendars, signage and business stationary. All designs are produced within the bounds of the client organisation's corporate style and image. The ideas of clients are adapted so that the end product focuses on readability and effective information transfer to the target audience.
plain English writing and targeted, creative training resource development
AnDi Communications prides itself on developing products that are valued by the target audience.
One of their key strengths is in producing plain English documents from highly technical or scientific publications. They can produce factsheets, brochures, project reports, case studies, industry articles (for journals, newsletters or magazines) and training resources.
Both Di and Annabel have completed a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training and understand the variability in learning styles. They are able to produce resources that compliment these learning styles and therefore target the resources to the audience.
Creative solutions are required to produce and promote the best possible information, extension or education package. When producing these resources, we have developed a wide range of communication techniques to cater for the different learning styles that exist within each target audience group.
Communication plans should be developed for research and/or extension projects and for businesses, both small and large.
Communication is the catalyst by which outputs can be converted to outcomes.
AnDi Communications believes that in general, communications plans are an under-estimated, yet essential, component of all quality research and development activities.
The communication plan needs to be completed in the planning phase of each research and/or extension project. Businesses need to develop communication plans and review their effectiveness on a regular basis.
A well planned communications program is cost effective and should aim to prevent unnecessary information duplication.
The resources that are identified in a communication plan should be created so that they suitable, where practical, for multiple purposes and audiences.
AnDi Communications is able to provide editing services that can adapt the language of documents so that they suit the target audience. The team can also suggest changes to the presentation of the content eg appropriate use of figures, tables and images so that the information contained in the document is used to best effect. Di and Annabel have experience in editing books, booklets, technical brochures, promotional fliers, newsletter, training resources and PowerPoint® presentations.
