Communication is the catalyst by which outputs can be converted to outcomes, research converted to practice change.
AnDi Communications believes that in general, communications plans are an under-valued, yet essential, component of all quality research and development activities. The communication plan needs to be completed in the initial development phase of each research and/or extension project.
A well planned communications program is cost effective and should aim to prevent unnecessary information duplication. The resources identified in a communication plan should be created so they are suitable, where practical, for multiple purposes and audiences.
Di and Annabel have a combined experience of more than 40 years in the areas of agricultural and environmental science. They have both written and technically edited books, technical brochures, factsheets, training resources, promotional fliers, PowerPoint® presentations, posters and newsletters.
AnDi Communications is able to provide a desktop publishing service for the design and layout of books, conference proceedings, booklets, technical brochures, promotional fliers, social media tiles, advertising artwork, PowerPoint® presentations, calendars, signage and business stationary.
Designs are produced within the bounds of the client organisation's corporate style and image. The ideas of clients are adapted to ensure the end product focuses on readability and effective information transfer to the target audience.
plain English writing, document editing, preparation of targeted resources
AnDi Communications prides itself on developing products that are valued by the target audience.
One of our key strengths is in producing plain English documents from highly technical or scientific publications. We can produce short sharp factsheets, detailed brochures, project reports, case studies, industry articles (for journals, newsletters or magazines) and training resources.
Both Di and Annabel have completed a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training and understand the diversity in learning styles. They are able to produce resources that compliment these learning styles and therefore target the resources to the audience.
Creative solutions are required to produce and promote the best possible information, extension or education package. When producing these resources, we have developed a wide range of communication techniques to cater for the different learning styles that exist within each target audience group.
